I've been using this foundation for a few weeks now and I cant get enough of it, its by far my favourite foundation from the highstreet/drugstore. It is on the pricier side for a drugstore foundation at £10.99 at boots, but to be honest I still think that's a pretty good deal compared to high end foundations.
The only disappointing thing is that this foundation is only available in 6 shades, and there are pretty much no shades for deeper skin tones. I use the darkest shade which is 58 dark bronze.
PROS:
- Really moisturising therefore great for my dry skin.
- Isn't cakey or heavy feeling on the face.
- Hypoallergenic.
- Price is decent.
CONS:
- May not be great for oily skin as it is a bit on the dewy side.
- No spf so no protection from sun for people who prefer to have spf in their foundation.
- Sheer coverage may not be enough for some people.
- Doesn't last too long on the skin especially when its hot as it just melts of my face.
In my case the CONS don't really exist for me as I have dry skin and prefer my foundations to not have spf (avoids flashback when taking photos with flash) in them and also I opt for a sheer coverage foundation usually anyways. So overall I would rate this foundation a 4/5. The reason its not a 5/5 is because of the small shade range and the lasting power is not too good.
If you can find a shade for your skin tone then I would definitely suggest you give it a go.
Is it the same shade as the nars all day luminous foundation ?
ReplyDeleteHey, I have the Bourjois foundation in the shade 58 hale fonce/dark bronze. Although it matches my skin tone this foundation is not exactly the same as the Nars one.
